It was time to say, "Goodbye" to the little girl I had been watching over my first year in Virginia Beach, and we were both wondering what life would be like after our last dinner together. We snapped photos of each other and suddenly out of the sky appeared a divine-like being in the clouds as if watching over us from above. I felt it was a message from the other side of the veil letting us know that we were being protected and guided during every step of the upcoming transition. The brilliant golden light reflected across the water shining brightly towards us, a reminder that those who watch over us are closer than we imagine.
