Masked Mane Gifts
One afternoon while photographing horses in the beautiful farm country of Pungo, Virginia, I came across a healing therapy farm where the horses were so excited to visit with me. They came right up to the fence and looked me right in the eye as I shared sweet words with them. I wondered how the masked horse must feel not being able to really see my face. A year later this photo had a deeper meaning when the Covid-19 pandemic appeared on the planet and required all of us to mask up while out in public.
